Gathering Hymn: 364 LBW, Son of God, Eternal Savior.

Hymn stanzas – Son of God, eternal saviour, Source of life and truth and Grace: Word made flesh whose birth among us Hallows all our human race. You our head wh throned in glory for your own will ever plead: Fill us with your love and pity, heal our wrongs and help our need.

As you Lord have lived for others, so may we for others live. Freely have your gifts been granted. Freely may your servants give. Yours the gold and yours the silver, yours the wealth of land and sea: We but stew-ards of your bounty, Held in solemn trust will be.

Come O Christ and reign among us, King of love and prince of peace: Hush the storm of strife and passion, bid its cruel discords cease. By your patient years of toiling, by your silent hours of pain. Quench our fevered thirst of pleasure, stem our selfish greed of gain.

Son of God eternal Savior, source of life and truth and grace. Word made flesh, whose birth among us Hallows all our human race. By your praying, by your willing, that your people should be one, Grant oh grant our hope’s fruition: here on earth your will be done.

first reading – Acts 17:22-31; Psalm 66:8-20; second reading – 1 Peter 3:13-22; Gospel reading – John 14:15-21

  1. Good MORNING PAM. This is the first time to hear you I was having trouble getting through before. I wanted to hear your sermon but next week. I told you when you were here that you would make a wonderful Pastor. I was right I was glad to have seen you working up to that. Love and Hugs Karen

  2. So great to see you “at work,” as it were, Pam. I feel badly that you and your congregation have to deal with a pandemic as you are settling into your ministry but I know it will all work out for you and your flock.
You are doing a great job via distance ministry and it is a treat to hear your voice and appreciate your sincerity.
    Take care, xo.
