O Come, O key of David Come
Isaiah 22:22 I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David; he shall open, and no one shall shut; he shall shut, and no one shall open.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Immanuel shall come to you, O Israel.
The key of David refers to the gospel of Christ, the truth of God taking on human form to be with humanity. What do you think it means for that gospel truth to be shut and opened?
